The Closet is the fourth chapter in Among The Sleep. The third monster known as [Heap] , also being the last, is found here. This level contains the final memory, the pink elephant. The level is made up of multiple corridors and hallways with small doors aligning the walls. The closet also contains bottles that will alert and summon Heap if broken. When you get the final memory and go to the red slide, you get caught, the toddler says "No!", before teddy's arm breaks off, and you fall, while crying. Eventually, you find your mother, drinking the wine, then the playhouse, and finally you are back home, and you find your mom downstairs. She has Teddy and an empty wine bottle in her hands. Someone then shows up at the door, presumably the father of the Toddler.
There is a easter egg where you earn a achievement on steam, if you open a door before encountering a first glimpse of Heap, near a ladder. There is a music box, but its corrupted, and has a corrupted dark ballerina on it, and plays an unsettling theme in the music box. Which gets the player an achievement.
